Taylors Quinta de Vargellas Vintage Port 2019

- Deep purple-black with a narrow red rim and magenta reflections. Elegance and delicacy are the dominant characteristics of this wine. The nose is polished and precise, displaying very pure and bright fruit with predominant notes of raspberry and cherry and an attractive fresh grace. Around this core of fine fruit are subtle botanical notes of ferns and wood shavings, and aromas of herbs and wildflowers. The palate is compact and spicy, with linear tannins galvanized by a powerful charge of acidity. The fine and vivacious fruit, which is the signature of the 2019 vintage, reappears on the palate and extends to the long finish.
