Quinta de Valle Madruga

Valle Madruga Farm

The place

Located in Valpaços, in the heart of the Trás-os-Montes Wine Region, Quinta Valle Madruga extends over more than 250 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and almond trees.
The olive grove covers over 200 hectares, spread across four interconnected properties - Valle Madruga, Sª D'Orada, Caravela and Jorjais. It is home to the typical varieties of the region, Cobrançosa, Madural and Verdeal transmontada. The vineyard currently covers around 30 hectares, divided into 13 varieties that serve as the basis for the house's calling cards, the wines "Quinta Valle Madruga" and Javardo by "Valle Madruga". The remaining area will be used primarily for planting Portuguese varieties.
Producing wine and olive oil that is recognized as being of superior quality, and that is the maximum exponent of the region, is the motivation of the Martins Ribeiro Family in this project.
