- Deep ruby color. Great aromatic complexity and freshness, with quite unique balsamic and tar flavors (typical of the Abandonado vineyard), liquorice, and blackberries. Pure refinement, with delicacy, minerality, and extraordinary fruit purity. You can feel the schist, the surrounding woodland, and the freshness of the altitude in a pure expression of the vineyard’s nature. An exercise in pure elegance and class from one of the most iconic vineyards in the Douro and in Portugal.
