Margaça Family Plot 01 Touriga Nacional Red 2020

Deep violet colour. Clean, expressive and complex nose. Notes of chocolate, liquorice and pine needles enhance all the other primary aromas of ripe wild fruits, such as blackcurrant and blackberry, floral notes of violet, typical of the Touriga Nacional variety, and fresh herbaceous nuances of thyme and camphor. This entire bouquet is harmonious and grows in the glass throughout the tasting. In the mouth we find a duality between the elegance of the body and the intensity of the flavour. The tannin is fine and velvety and the alcohol is perfectly integrated. The freshness, provided by a balanced acidity, makes us salivate and “pushes” us to try again. It benefits from aeration. The wild fruit and notes of chocolate accompany the tasting until its long and elegant finish.
