Margaça Family Plot 02 Sousão Red 2021

- A deep violet color immediately marking its intensity. A clean, highly fragrant, and immediately pleasurable nose. Herbaceous notes of fresh herbs such as mint, eucalyptus, and camphor appear in the foreground, providing freshness, followed by aromas of warm spices, chocolate, and smoke. Fruity aromas of ripe cherries and wild berries complete the complex and inviting bouquet. On the palate, it is surprisingly balanced despite its warm base, typical of a top-of-the-range wine from the deep Alentejo region. Evident concentration, with present but well-polished tannins and an acidity, typical of the Sousão grape variety, to be noted at the end of the tasting. The spice aromas become even more evident on the palate.
