- Intense ruby color. Delicately fragrant and clean. Intense floral aromas, so characteristic of Touriga Nacional, complemented by ripe red fruit and nuances of fennel. Maturation in barrels has given it notes of chocolate, light spice, and smoke. On the palate, it is very well-balanced, with notable acidity, lending freshness to an intense, full-bodied wine with present but polished tannins. Warm spices such as cinnamon and clove stand out on the retro-nasal aromas, giving the wine another dimension. It finishes firm, fresh, and long, calling for another taste.
