Fonseca Vintage Port 2009

- Impenetrable black color. A classic Fonseca nose dominated by exuberant and hedonistic fruitiness, a powerful redness of dense blackberry and blackcurrant that slowly releases an intoxicating blend of spice and herb aromas, seductive notes of coffee and cocoa, hints of plum and wild aromas of rockrose gum. The thick, velvety tannins give the wine a voluptuous density, effortlessly integrating with the sumptuous infusion of blackberry compote, dark chocolate and licorice that coats the palate. The tannins are also present in the finish, which overflows with blackberry and blackcurrant flavor.
