Tasting note
- The deep orange-brown color reflects the concentration of almost eighty years of aging in cask. Complex aromas of caramel, chocolate praline, demerara sugar, and roasted coffee are balanced by an extraordinary freshness, which belies the eight decades in seasoned oak wood. The palate is creamy, sumptuous, and intense, with a long finish that offers layers upon layers of nuts, citrus jam, and honey, while notes of tea and tobacco linger in the glass.
