It possesses fascinating aromas of honeysuckle, bitter orange, almonds, and caramel, with incredible vitality and grace for a wine of this age. The palate is pure seduction, concentrated yet silky, with beautiful, soft citrus fruits that blend with delicate flavors of buttery caramel and honey. Also present – ​​both aromatically and on the palate – are attractive notes of caramel and marzipan. The incredible balance between concentration and freshness, after seven decades of aging in cask, is one of the great attributes of this wine.
