Krohn Harvest Port 2006

- Intense color, tawny brown core, with a wide brick-colored halo. On the nose, it presents itself as harmonious and complex, blending aromas of molasses and caramel with notes of plum and raisin, black tea leaves, cigar box, and fleeting floral hints. On the palate, the first impression is of smoothness and density, but as the wine evolves, it reveals an attractive lightness, combining a lively acidity with the succulent flavors of plum. The finish results in an explosion of ripe and opulent flavors balanced by a pleasant dry aftertaste. A wonderful and seductive wine, at the perfect point of ripeness.
