Krohn Vintage Port 2016

- Deep ruby ​​color with a narrow purple rim. A nose of wonderfully pure and vibrant red fruits with fresh aromas of blackberry, raspberry, cherry and lively notes of plum and apricot. Behind this curtain of fresh fruit emerge elegant aromas of black pepper and nutmeg, notes of mocha and aromas of cedar wood and balsamic herbs. In contrast, the palate is voluptuous, with dense tannins that fill the mouth, providing body and firmness and a thick blackberry juice flowing into a lingering finish. Although the first impression is of ethereal purity, the wine develops an intricate complexity in the glass, displaying the powerful yet beautifully integrated tannins that are the hallmark of this year.
