Tasting note

The second edition of Mateus Maria da Malhadinha 2023 pays homage to the youngest member of the family. Virtually opaque, it displays an aromatic profile distinct from the other reds from the estate, with notes of black and blue fruit, well-integrated toasted barrel notes, wrapped in a smoky mineral background. On the palate, it is a full-bodied wine with firm yet ripe tannins and a long finish. A wine with great aging potential.
