Tasting note
- The Tinto Cão grape variety takes time to reveal its characteristics. It has a 'turbulent' start to its life, and aging in barrels and bottles develops its potential. The main characteristic is a structured wine with a very smooth and long finish, unlike few other Douro grape varieties. A small percentage of Rabigato provides "fixation" to the aroma and palate through its acidity.
