Tasting note
- Golden in color, with aromas of dried apricots and candied tangerine peel well integrated with a dried fruit character. “The palate reveals dried fruit with a spirited finish. With great structure and a long finish. It offers surprising aromas of orange and lemon peel, with notes of toffee, caramel and honey. Full-bodied and juicy, with plenty of sweet fruit and a long, subtle finish that lingers. This is truly the benchmark for 10-year-old tawnies.” Tasting notes by James Suckling in June 2003.
