Niepoort Olo Bruto Sparkling Wine 2016

With a very light and almost crystalline colour, OLO has a very expressive but precise aroma, with notes of stone, lemon, white fruit and ginger. More elegant than the previous year, it is fresh on the palate, with good volume, but very fine thanks to a good balance between fruit and acidity. An extremely mineral and delicate white, but thanks to its acidity it provides a firm, complex and very long finish. Although its aromas are different from those of the Riesling variety, it reminds us very much of the fine wines of Mosel due to its delicacy and harmony.
