Tasting note
In the glass, it has a concentrated ruby colour, but of medium intensity, characteristic of the wines of the year. On the nose, it is discreet, with notes of graphite, blackcurrant and blackberry, floral nuances surrounded by very well-integrated wood. On the palate, the tannins are very precise and give it the character of a Douro red with more concentration, but always with the Niepoort signature of elegance, structure and persistence. It has great ageing potential. Decanting is recommended one hour in advance.
