The colour is visually more Ruby, with young reddish tones, but with a mix of more evolved brown tones. On the nose, it is striking for its intensity and richness of aromas. Vinous, with young and ripe black fruit, notes of dry dark chocolate. Very ripe red fruit and some floral notes. Sweet black and wild fruit. You can smell the terroir of very old vineyards in a young wine. On the palate, the complexity promised by the nose is reaffirmed. It is broad, distinct and full, showing a strong balance between sweetness, strength and tannins, with a smooth, long, very fresh and harmonious finish. It finishes long and concentrated. This Port Wine is about discovery and challenge: Powerful tannins ensuring intensity, the sweet flavour enhanced by lively acidity, depth and structure to guarantee long-term ageing.
