- The Quinta da Lomba Garrafeira White is characterized by its vitality, elegance, and acidity. This wine originates from the old vines of Quinta da Lomba, a magical place on the slopes of the Serra da Estrela. The nose reflects the freshness and complexity of the Dão region, placing its whites in the world-class category of serious wines. Notes of pineapple, apricot, and citrus are revealed together with a slightly smoky character, very well-integrated wood, and nuances of vanilla bean. On the palate, it is impressive. Elegant yet structured, saline and peppery. The acidity evokes the granite soils, providing freshness in a persistent and complex finish. A very serious and distinguished white wine that will evolve very well in the bottle, to be enjoyed in Burgundy-style glasses.
