White Winery 2016

Quinta da Lomba Garrafeira White is characterised by its vitality, elegance and acidity. This wine comes from the old vineyards of Quinta da Lomba, a magical place on the slopes of the Serra da Estrela. The nose reflects the freshness and complexity of the Dão, and places its whites in the world class of serious wines. Notes of pineapple, apricot and citrus are revealed together with a slightly smoky character, very well integrated wood and nuances of vanilla pod. In the mouth, it is impressive. Elegant, but structured, salty and peppery. The acidity refers to the granite soils, giving it freshness in a persistent and complex finish. A very serious and distinguished white wine, which will evolve very well in the bottle, to be enjoyed in Burgundy-style glasses.
