Tasting note
- A very elegant and fresh wine, with a good color of violet, dark red and purple, with a good concentration of aromas of ripe dark red fruits, black cherries and plums, and smooth aromatic and fruity flavors. Great balance and acidity, intense and velvety, with the finesse and elegance so traditional of Quinta Vale D. Maria Douro Tinto. Aging in French oak barrels, 75% new and 25% one year old, concentrated the wine's original ripe tannins and helped to soften its power, resulting in a very elegant wine with great balance and finesse and a very long and fruity finish.
