Tasting note
The terroir of Quinta dos Carvalhais is reflected in the aromas, texture and elegance of this Alfrocheiro. It has floral notes of black and wild fruits, cedar and beeswax, resinous nuances of forest, moss, pine, "sous-bois" and a touch of menthol. The mouthfeel has a firm and defined attack, with great freshness and polished tannins, in an elegant and enveloping body. The wine ends in a voluminous, delicate, long, persistent and hard to forget finish.
