Tasting note
- With a very bright golden appearance, Quinta dos Carvalhais Branco Especial is a sophisticated and very complex wine. Its bouquet is dominated by gunpowder, truffle, some honey and dried fruit, as well as notes of oak and warm notes of spices. It is a dense and cohesive wine, with a complex palate and a wide aromatic range. Its acidity is lively and very well balanced with layers of aromas and oak notes from the years this wine aged in barrels. It is fantastically full-bodied and has an elegant finish.
