Tasting note
- The essence of Quinta dos Carvalhais is expressed in the aromas of this wine: notes of pine, eucalyptus, cedar and oak, black and wild fruit, resinous and shrubby nuances, moss, pine needles, some soft flowers and a very fresh menthol touch. It is a dense wine on the palate, with firm and defined, yet polished tannins, in an elegant and enveloping body. The aromatic complexity is confirmed on the palate. The wine finishes with a voluminous, delicate, long and persistent finish.
