Tasting note
- It is very restrained, with slightly smoky/toasted, spongy aromas, but after half an hour in contact with the air, it developed and opened up with beautifully concentrated spices and black cherry fruit. The wine has great length and firm tannins; it obviously needs more time in the bottle, but clearly has great potential.
