Sandeman Vintage Port

Grapes from the best plots of Quintas do Seixo and do Vau were fermented at the Quinta do Seixo winery, using the traditional Port wine method, in granite lagares with foot treading. This ancestral process allows the grapes to release their constituents and naturally express the aromas of the grape variety and the terroir. After the harvest, the wines remain in the Douro until they are transported, the following spring, to the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, where they age in oak vats. During this period, they undergo rackings, analyses, and tastings, allowing their evolution to be monitored. The final blend is the result of a rigorous selection process, in pursuit of the highest quality.
