- Touriga Nacional is the international icon of Portuguese grape varieties originating from the region where it best expresses itself, the Dão. At Taboadella, it is a grape that shines on the ground, and we believe we have a great example of its natural acidity in this exceptional terroir, which allows us to detect the violets that populate the aroma in our memory, complementing the notes of altitude, the black spice, and the humid granite with a quartzitic aroma, in a surprising complexity.
