- Dark in color, as all vintages should be. Intense aromas of red fruits such as berries, wild brambles, and plenty of fig, almost as if the vines had blossomed at the same time as the fig trees scattered across some of the farm's terraces. Aromas of rockrose and heather also appear, all enveloped with great complexity by the slow fermentation over 15 days, during which the native yeasts transformed the sugars of the ripe grapes. On the palate, again, black fruits, tobacco, coffee, and chocolate stand out in an explosion of fresh, vigorous wine with intense acidity.
