Vadio Solera Brut Sparkling Wine

Sparkling wine production has a long tradition in the Portuguese city of Bairrada, but the solera process, which gave rise to this sparkling white wine, was only introduced in 2007. The barrels are filled with the youngest harvest and the base of the wine continues to mature. Fermentation in the bottle lasts 18 months. The solera process leaves its characteristics with an intense reddish-gold color, as well as a very fresh aroma. Salt, peanuts, light almonds, walnuts and a little burnt sugar can be combined in the bouquet of aromas, as well as citrus zest and orange blossom. In the mouth it has flavors of fresh herbs and refreshing orange. Good interplay between acid and sweet.
