Tasting note
The name Vale do Malhô identifies the location of the vineyards, in a small area of the Terroir of the Vale do Rio Torto, a tributary of the Douro, included in the Douro Demarcated Region – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The resulting natural harmony between a Mediterranean microclimate and a schist soil results in the best agronomic and qualitative expression of the noble and typical grape varieties, such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, which make up the vines of a vineyard that is around forty years old.
