Refugees Rum is the result of a blend created by Chef Ljubomir Stanisic, aged for two years at the Zimbro distillery in French oak barrels that previously held Douro wine and then cherry liqueur. Produced from sugarcane from Syria and North Africa (certification of origin), which migrated across the Mediterranean Sea to southern Spain, where it was distilled, and finally arrived in Portugal, this is a rum of noble woods, with sweetness, elegance and subtlety.
